Sujit Choudhry the Director of the Center for Constitutional Transitions

Sujit Choudhry was born on 1970 and have worked as a professor of Law for many years. He holds a Master of Law from the Havard School of Law and a law degree from the University of Oxford. He abandoned a degree in Biology studies to pursue law a degree he had attained from the University of McGill. He is very passionate about what he does. He can only be described as the greatest World scholar of all times when it comes to interpretation of very critical constitutional issues.

This is the only center that has worked with over 25 countries to provide constitutional solutions. He has also worked with many countries to offer certain solutions i.e, South Africa. Ukraine, Srilanka, Egypt, Nepal and many other countries. He has been a respected figure across the globe because of his genius approach when handling law related issues. Sujit Choudhry is also privileged to have attended the Ukraine solution hunting meeting. He has three points as to why governments fail. They are weak political parties, focusing on presidential elections and also poor legislative structures. The meeting was attended by all Constitution experts from Ukraine. It was held on July 10th in the center of Kiev. They focused on something called semi-presidential system. They also discussed various challenges that the constitution is facing today. The workshop was hosted by the center of policy, the international institutes for democracies and electorate assistance, and also the legal reform.
